Using this app, it should be possible to convince our pediatrician that the reason for BMI being off the charts is because of genetics, not malnutrition or illness.

I love hatch baby scale and app. I used from the beginning with my baby for four months religiously. I love the data. I love the info around breastfeeding. Ive bought two scales I love it so I can have one everywhere I go. But the new update is terrible. The new schedule is awful. I used to be able to see all the data back to the beginning if I wanted in the schedule. Now I can only see back two weeks. I used to be able to see a whole days worth activity now I can only see a few hours at a time. I know its meant to look prettier but it is way less functional. Please please please restore back the old functionality. I want to be able to see all my old data going back four months again. If changes are made to the schedule I would change my review back to 5 stars.

I have been using this app consistently for nearly six months with my son. As a first time mom I wanted to make sure I was "on track" with his feedings and naps. Im naturally forgetful, and combined with newborn sleep deprivation, I need this app to tell me when I last fed him (and even what side for BF). I love the clean user interface and design. Its very intuitive and has a place for all the data I need. I dont even share it with my doctor, its just for me to time feedings, find his nap window after feeding, and log his naps. I recommend it as a must for all new moms- I cant recommend it enough!

Before this last update on 7/30, the app was fantastic! But now I HATE IT! Its too cutesy and its hard to tell anything anymore! The photo section is far too large now when that is not the information that I need. The daily schedule section is MUCH more confusing and I cant see any patterns. I will be deleting and finding a new app now! It is so confusing now. They went with trying to make it look cute instead of functional. Horrible app!!!!

I like that you can view the daily schedule on the main page now, but I hate the new format of the daily schedule. I liked being able to see the whole day at a time, now it just is confusing and messy. Dont like the new update for that reason only. The rest is good which is why I have 2 stars instead of just one.

Have been using this app for a few weeks now, and LOVE the new update! I love having the schedule on the dashboard, and I like that its easier to understand than it was before. I like that you can now select certain days on the graph feature and get the exact value for that day, which you couldnt do before. Id love to see an option for average food consumption per week. Overall this is a great update and Im very pleased. This was just an ok app before and now Im much more inclined to use it.

Will amend my rating when the bugs are fixed. I can no longer sync with my husband.

The daily schedule, which was previously very helpful is now less visibly appealing and unhelpful.

Seems like it was rushed. Its busy, hard to follow. Theres little bugs everywhere too (text misaligned, pixelated icons, etc). Not very intuitive. Hatch has been a staple for us since our daughter was born (9 months now!) and well continue to use this, but this update is a bit of a flop :(

Ive loved this app since I had my baby 5 months ago. It is a life saver for me in tracking his eating and sleeping habits. Their customer service has been amazing too, always quick to respond when Ive found a bug or need help. The new update made the app a little prettier, but it took away the daily outline on the dashboard! I really miss being able to see how the day is going with each feeding, nap, diaper change, note, etc all in order in one place. Please bring it back!!

Im not sure if its mommy brain or my terrible memory (probably both), but I cant for the life of me ever remember what time I fed my daughter or which side I was on lol. This app remembers it for me, is super user-friendly and beautifully designed! Id be lost and confused without it! Definitely recommend!

The data does not refresh so I can add a feeding or a pump and it doesnt show right away. I have to kill the app and reopen. Sometimes for pumps it never shows until a time later. Inconvenient since my hubs and I both use it and we cants keep up w what the other did. Old version did not have these issues and I kind of miss that on the dashboard I could scroll through the activity for the day. The bar chart is not the same....

Ive been using this app all day, every day since my baby was born almost 3 months ago, and it has made managing feedings, nap times, diaper counts, etc so much easier. However, the latest update to the home portal page of the app is nowhere near as easy to read as it was before. It was previously clean and organized, and now it looks much more cluttered and uses some ugly font. The daily schedule is also even harder to read than the last version. Even though the last version was sort of hard to see due to the size and lack of AM/PM labels, you could at least see patterns developing in feedings and sleep times without scrolling. The new daily schedule is useless. I really wish the makers would revert it to the previous version! (!!!) The more I use this new version, the less I like it. Also wish there was a way to adjust/crop photos.

This app was great up until the latest update/restructure. I love the slideshow feature and it was VERY helpful when my son was first born tracking feedings, diapers, weight, etc.

Ever since the update feelings and diapers etc... Dont show up on my phone if my wife puts them in or via versa... Not very happy

I downloaded all the apps that were similar to this one that tracked feedings and diapers... None compare to this one. Easy to use. Cool charts. Truly amazing!! Wish I knew about this in the hospital since everything is tracked so closely! It would have been soooo much easier since youre so sleep deprived, groggy from pain medication... It would have been a godsend! Downloaded this when we got home and its been so wonderful. Never have to wonder if I remembered to log a diaper change or feeding bc its easy and fun to use. I used to track pumping as well.

Hatch Baby App in general does a reasonable job with collecting data, but a subpar job with displaying any useful information with that data. It needs more statisitcs like, "average time baby goes to sleep at night." Also, great that you added integration with Amazon Echo, a product with extremely limited adoption compared to Siri, which is on all our iOS devices. "Hey Siri, Baby started feeding." Hey Siri, "Baby went to sleep. Baby woke up..." etc... With out these basic features, the App is just a data collection tool with no intelegence. Adding a larger photo in the UI was a nice addition. It would be great to be able to export the photo memories as a movie or some sharing feature. Another issue I found is with Hatch Poll. Once you see, skip or submit the poll question, you cant go back to it, which is very annoying especially if you missed the little detailed advice it adds.

This app does everything and its super easy to use. Im a mom of three, ages 5, 3 and newborn, and I still find time to use this app. I really like the charting ability, and being able to see growth spurts on the charts. Its also helped me establish a routine through the tracking, as having two other children are quite a distraction and Im not always paying attention to the time. Also, my husband loves the notifications of what the baby is doing throughout the day. It helps him stay connected when away at work. My only concern with this app is that theres so much on it that it can be overwhelming. Sometimes I find myself caught up in trying to enter in data. Overall, I enjoy this app and would recommend it.

Im giving the app 3 stars because Im splitting the difference between the 4 that it was and the 2 that it now is due to the most recent update (7/29/16). Prior to the update I could see notes on my dashboard. This was helpful as my notes were all about medicine administration for him. Now I have to take a few extra steps to see what time I last gave him his meds. What hasnt changed, unfortunately, is the knack for losing or deleting entries an hour or two after they are entered leaving one to guess at the time and length of most recent entry. This was something I could deal with when dashboard had everything at a glance. But now its "prettied up" but with information of little use to me. And while some may consider it prettier, it feels much more cluttered than it was before the update. I loved what it was. And I hate what it has become. For the love of God and all that is holy, please change it back. Please. EDIT--Thank goodness they have added daily activities to the dashboard. This brings the pretty but cluttered update back up to a 3.5 star rating. Take away the clutter and Id give it a 4 star rating. But this most recent (8/5/16) update brings it back to a usable app that I like.

Had our first baby July 14 and started using Hatch Baby right away to track feedings, diapers, sleep cycles, and measurements of our girl. This app is so well designed: its extremely user-friendly and beautiful to look at. You can easily add entries with the timer feature or add them later using start and end times. Its been most helpful for me to track breastfeeding, to keep feedings balanced between the two sides. You can see which side you left off on from the dashboard. The schedule is also fantastic - it reveals your babys patterns and helps me plan my days much better. This app has given me so much peace of mind, and has made doctor visits a breeze. Cannot recommend highly enough! Minor bug: the schedule on the dashboard is a day behind. The full schedule works.
